I am creating the complete book of the descendants of Johann Hermann Heinrich Niederstucke, married to Anna Katharine Viehe. This interesting family came to the US from Germany in 1944 and settled in Evansville, Indiana. where they took the name VIEHE.My husband, John, now deceased, and I visited Lohne, Germany in 1986, where we learned and collected a lot of information about the family. We visited with members of the Niederstucke family, they thought we should take back the name. ! John was very interested in his family background, and had collected a lot of data.. I now intend to finish his project and publish the most detailed book about the Viehe family ever produced.Johann Hermann had 5 sons, one of them Friedrich Wilhelm, who was my husbands great grandfather. I intend to include a short biography, and tidbits of interest where available.A lot of events have taken place in ten years, and I would like to update my records. I would appreciate to receive information about any of the 5 brances, new marriages, births and deaths as well as brief biography of individuals. Pictures can also be included.
