| FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA...... Researching the family trees has been a labor of love. I have always been interested in the families of my past. My grandparents came to the United States as immigrants in the early 1900's. I am second generation American. My children, through their father's North Carolina side of the family are fifth generation Americans and through marriage my son-in-law is a seventh generation American. This makes me very proud. Our families come from and live in all corners of the U.S. and have migrated mostly from Eastern Europe. We were farmers, tailors, laborers, coopers, merchants, housewives, factory workers, and pioneers. Today, we have careers in Finance, Computer Technology, Government, Medicine, Construction, Law, and Landscaping. We have attained what our families set out to provide us, the American Dream. Our customs and habits, our way of how we live our lives comes from the people before us. Hard work, honesty, integrity, family values, community, religion, and love of this country is our inheritance. My hope, through this home page, is to re-establish contact with those family members that I think about often, but have had no contact with for many years. Maybe some new family members will arise from this page also. Please e-mail me for any family information you are questioning. I hope to hear from you all soon, Carolyn |
