"The Pichler, Moon, Decker and Related Families"

Updated June 2, 2007

Welcome to my family tree!! This site is an integration of family histories that date back to the first settlers that ever set foot on American soil, originating from such countries as England, Ireland, France, Wales. Others came more recently from countries such as Austria, Germany, Hungary, Bohemia and Prussia.
Many of my ancestors were from England and came to America for religious freedom. Many came on the Mayflower. Most of them settled in Massachusetts but soon followed Anne Hutchinson, my 8th great-aunt, and others to Rhode Island, where they were free to worship as they wished. The first Baptist church in America was erected on Rhode Island. Many of my relatives became 7th Day Baptists, some Mormons, Quakers, etc.

It took many years of researching my Davis, Moon, Pichler, Decker and Jordan roots, all of which have intermarried into many of the families in Waushara, Marquette, and Green Lake Counties. I have met and continue to meet a lot of "cousins" all over the states while putting this information together. It is a fascinating journey through time. I have been able to piece together a massive matrix of relations and have found many surprises!!

This website, though just starting will be added to as often as possible. I am working on the continual upgrading of information, amusing stories, touching poems, and photos. I welcome your comments, suggestions and any information you can add to the family histories on this site.
