Jack Brazil age 19 male-white born Fairfield Co. married within year
Martha Brazil age 17 female-white born Fairfield Co. couldn't read

In the 1820 Fairfield County, S.C. Census there is listed a Jacob Brazil. It just lists all of his children and their ages. This is the only Brazil in Fairfield County at that time so this "might" be Andrews father. Also there is a William Brazzele (sp?) in an earlier late 1700's census so this may be Jacobs father..I'm going to research this line further.
Also, Ive seen some records listing Andrew's father as William Brazell or Alexander Brazell.

Deaths

Mrs. Martha Brazzel, an aged lady of Heath Springs, died last Friday. She was the widow of Jack Brazxel and was about 75 years of age. She leaves two daughters and five sons, Mrs. Kate Osborn, Mrs. Vicey McCraven and Messrs. Andrew, William, Sim, Levie and Newton Brazzel. The remains were buried Sunday at Old Salem cemetery.
