Loudoun Times Mirror, December 5, 1990.Mae Virginia Mentzer, 84, Lovettsville, died Dec. 3 at Loudoun Hospital Center.Born May 17, 1905, in Loudoun County, she was a daughter of the late David G. and Maude Virts Mentzer.She lived her entire life in Lovettsville area.She retired at age 65 as a postal clerk at the Lovettsville post office.She was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.Surviving are:four nieces, Alma Misenheimer, Purcellville, Shirley Davis, Winchester, Joyce Jackson, Paeonian Springs, and Thelma Sargent, Leesburg; and six nephews, George Mentzer, Gaithersburg, Md., James Mentzer, Neersville, Delbert Mentzer and Roland Mentzer, both of Lovettsville, Perry Mentzer, Charlestown, W. Va., and Marlo Mentzer, Maryland.Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Lovettsville.
