KATHRYN (GUNELSON) VLECK:I am searching for information on my ancestors.My father's great grand parents were Gunnul Olson Vindeg and Guri Pedersdatter Vehus who immigrated in 1839 from Rollaug Numedal Norway and settled in Koshkonong Settlement near Madison, Wisconsin. His maternal great grand parents were Ole Gunderson (Flom) and Martha Gullicksdatter who immigrated from Norway in 1848 and settled in Columbia County, Wisconsin and Østeon Gulvsen Steine and Karie Olsdatter Nesbø who immigrated from Aurland Norway in 1860 and settled in Columbia County, Wisconsin. My mother's grand parents were Adam Goblirsch and Margaret Stadick. They immigrated in 1868 from Bohemia and settled in Nicollet County which is in western Minnesota. My mother's father was George John Mahal who immigrated from Bohemia about 1883. JAMES J VLECK: I am searching for information on my ancestors. My father's parents were Vaclav Vlcek who immigrated from Bohemia in 1882 and Mary Bicha who immigrated from Bohemia in 1866. The Vlcek's settled in the Langdon North Dakota area and the Bicha's settled in LaCrosse Wisconsin. My mother's parents came from Quebec. She was a decendant of Nicolas Belanger who immigrated from France in the 1640's and Marie Rainville who was born in Quebec and was the daughter of Paul Rainville and Rolline Poette both who came from Normandie, France. |
