I have been researching the Vonk family name for about fifteen years. I have traced my ancestors back to Tymon Jacobsz Vonk born about 1655 in Oud-Loosdrecht, Utrecht Province, Netherlands. The majority of this Vonk family stayed in Utrecht province, primarily in the Loosdrecht area, until the mid-1800s. I am also searching for information on the family of my father's mother, Jannetje Helena van der Kwast. Any information on the van der Kwast (van der Quast) name will be very much appreciated. My mother's side of the family (FEEKES, FEYKES, FEKERS) is also being researched. Haye Feykes married Lamerdina Lambertsen on 04 Sep 1735 in Deventer, OverIJssel Province, Netherlands. Information regarding the de Roos family name is also welcome. This is the family name of my mother's mother, Trintje de Roos. Trintje's father, Jan Willems de Roos was born to Willem Lammerts de Roos and Mintje Oepkes Vellinga on 06 Dec 1816 in Wommels, Friesland. I welcome any information that anyone might provide, and am very willing to share the data that I have available.

Gerrit Blesius Feekes - born 29 Oct 1807 (125 KB) Gerrit Blesius Feekes was born 29 Oct 1807 in Deventer, OverIJssel, Netherlands. He married Christina Smies 30 Jun 1836. He died 22 May 1887. Christina Smies - born 25 Feb 1818 (111 KB) Christina Smies was born 25 Feb 1818. She married Gerrit Blesius Feekes on 30 Jun 1836. She died in Deventer, Netherlands 17 Feb 1892. Jan Willems de Roos - born 6 Dec 1816 (129 KB) Jan Willems de Roos was born 6 Dec 1816 and died 9 Feb 1902. He was the father of Trijntje "Moetje" de Roos. Another Photo of Jan Willems de Roos (90 KB) Jan Willem de Roos married three times, outliving all of his wives. Akke Klazes Visser - born 29 Oct 1835 (104 KB) Akke Klazes Visser was born 29 Oct 1835. She married Jan Willems de Roos 26 Aug 1861. She was the mother of Trijntje ("Moetje")de Roos. Theodorus Hubertus Feekes - born 13 Oct 1854 (153 KB) Theodorus Hubertus Feekes was born 13 Oct 1854 in Deventer, OverIJssel, Netherlands. He married Trijntje de Roos in April, 1882. Trijntje (de Roos) Feekes (191 KB) Trijnte de Roos was born 29 Apr 1862 in Oosterlittens, Friesland. She died in Carmel, Iowa 12 Jun 1943. After her marriage to Theodorus Feekes in 1882 she was known as "Moetje" Feekes. Theodorus and Moetje Feekes - taken about 1915. (244 KB) Theodorus Hubertus Feekes and Trijntje de Roos ("Moetje") were married April 1882.
