Supervised 1 military analyst and 2 civilians.  Planned and executed numerous highly visible provisioning, procurement and stowage initiatives, during crushing environment of lead ship delivery for SEAWOLF and a hostile Congress on the Virginia class submarine.  Personally developed automated methodologies for expediting Provisioning documentation.

Naval Supply Systems Command

Supervised 5 civilian analysts.  In the words of RADM Moore, Chief of the Supply Corps, “LCDR von Hitritz changed the way NAVSUP does business”.   Developed the first Corporate Information System for NAVSUP.  Allowed senior military and civilian staff at NAVSUP to make much more enlightened decision at a time when the Department of Defense and NAVSUP was drastically downsizing.

(deployed to Desert Storm/Shield, 8/90-4/91)

Led a department of about 65.  First Supply Corps officer to land in Saudi Arabia in support of Desert Shield and Desert Storm.  Remained deployed throughout conflict.  Overcame extreme difficulties to establish a contingency logistics pipeline.  Provided support to both the unit and the entire Marine Corps established air base in Jubayl.  Came under fire by scud attack on the city of Jubayl.
