The last page of the Will was what the Historical Society helper called the "Probate Page". It was basically a page that stated that the below signed names witnessed the singing of and could verify this was infact a valid Last Will. That page was dated February 1, 1819. It is obvious from reading it that Michael was already dead at that point. No one knows for sure his actual death date or if it is known I have never seen it stated anywhere. It could be late 1818 or January 1819 (his headstone on his grave in Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg states an incorrect year of 1820).

In the will his two oldest sons (Martin and Michael) were left 5 shillings each due to help that Michael had given his sons when he was alive. His daughter received 100 pounds (50 at once and 50 a year later). His two youngest sons Jacob and Mathias were the executors and received an equal distribution after all expences were paid.

Michaels will was written in August 1803. One of the witnesses was James Gettys who was the founder of Gettysburg.
