Palmiter 01 Mar 1870 in Juneau Co., Wisconsin, son of Hiram Palmiter and Eliza Doolittle. He was born Abt. 1845 in Brookfield, Madison Co., New York, and died Bef. 1903 in Prob. Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.

From "Town Officers, 1882" as taken from the Mauston Star newspaper of Juneau County published 13 April 1882, B. O. Palmiter had been elected a Constable for the Town of Plymouth in a recent election.

In 1903, Mary A. is listed as a widow.

The following appeared in the Wisconsin State Genealogical Society Newsletter, Vol. 27, #2, September 1980, page 64:

Desire dates of death on following gravestone dates: Eliza A. (Doolittle) Palmiter, age 68 1880 census; lived Glendale, Monroe County, Wisc., "sep" wife of Hiram Palmiter who died in Brookfield, NY 1881. Their daughter DeEtte (Palmiter), born Brookfield 1849 and husband Joseph A. Walker, lived 1880 Glendale, Wisc. Also dates their son, Byron O.
