| Welcome to my home page. Since January 1998 I have been researching the genealogy of my family - tracing it back to it's origins in Hoogvliet, a village near Rotterdam in The Netherlands. With the help of the Hoogvliet Historical Society, I have established that my forefathers played a significant role in the village's development and life, dating back to the 1400's. Some members of my family still live in Hoogvliet today, whilst most have moved further afield - to other parts of Holland, and internationally to Grand Rapids, Michigan in the USA; New Zealand and where my immediate family now resides, Crawley in England. I now have direct information on some 200 family members and ancestors, and many more names I still need to "connect".
