My Southern Roots

As I live in S.C. it was easier for me to research my fathers family which include the Davis's & Postell's, White, Peeple's & Platt all from Colleton County, S.C. At this time I've reached a brick wall with my Davis's. Such a common name & so many! Any help would be appriecated!
It goes with out saying that a big thanks should go out to Kenneth White family geneoligst & whose book, I can say "got me started on my new obbession".
My mothers' family started in Hopkins county, Ky with the Littlepages' & Millers that migarted to Hopkins, Delta, Hunt & Lamar counties of Texas. This line includes one Daniel F. King, the Rasor's/Razor/Racer from Iron County, Mo. (many, many thanks to Vi Kennedy. She is a wealth of information & really brought my great grandfather's family alive for me!) And lastly The Hamilton's from what I can gather came from Ireland,settled in Tennesse & then also to Texas.
