Hello, I will expand this page over time. I am doing Genealogical Family Research on the surnames Voyda, Dobay, Mild, Toth, Orban, Kecskes, Drotloff, Hogyan, Petrus, Guba, and others as I find their relation to my own family tree. I have compiled quite a bit of information on some of these lines. I would be very happy to share any information that I have, or help others in their research. I am currently undertaking a massive search on the Toth side of my family tree, as I have a surviving great uncle that is helping me whom is the first generation family genealogist. I will try to follow in his footsteps the best that I can. He speaks fluent Magyar, and is helping me learn the language as well. If anyone needs explanations about towns, or provinces, or counties in Hungary, I am currently doing extensive research, and would share what I know with those that simply ask :)
I do my research not only because I want to know, but for the generations that come after me. Some day when I am a great uncle, I will be able to tell my nieces or nephews about our family history, which would have been lost altogether, had I not had an interest in continuing my uncle's work.
