I am researching the Vukela family ancestry. My grandfather John Vukela (Janko Vukelja), came to the United States in 1901 from Vodostaj Croatia. He immigrated through the Port of Baltimore and settled in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh, PA. The original spelling of Vukela is Vukelja.
I have also begun researching the Zalewski side of the family tree.
