| In the course of human endeavor, opinions are paramount, but we can discover truth if we truly seek it, laying aside all bias and embarrassment in our endeavor. My opinion is no better than anyone else's, but I am convinced that facts of proof can and will be found if we but try. I have been doing unlearned reasearch for about 30 years, and have accumulated some 13,000+ names(I found some repeats, and there may still be some)from the downlines of Johaan Andreas Weckesser, immmigrant to America in 1747, and am still looking for corrections, additions, and verifications. I invite you to walk through these yesteryears with me. I receive small amounts of information from time to time that I try to incorporate on the page as oportunity permits. As you read, if you find information that has been proven to be in error, I would appreciate an email note of corrections and proof from you so that all information can be brought up to date as I can get to it. I would like it to be known that I do not agree with some of the philosopy of our ancestors, even though I know they were good people, but in dealing with genealogy, one must include all information as it was construed, or be guilty of bias. I hope you can enjoy (as I did) the papers as they were written by our ancestors. With all of the tools and documents that we can go to now to search, confirm data, and enlarge our files, the searching is becoming so much easier. In order to follow lines and find the truth in all matters, one must keep an open mind and an open heart because some of the things that we find may not be what we want to find. It is with such efforts that I endeavor to fill my files to the utmost with the truth if I can find it. My thanks for all the help that I have encountered over the years, and I am willing to share any of my files that are wanted.
