The Waddell-Waddle Family Home Page

I am researching the Waddell-Waddle family from South Carolina. I have confirmed the family back to Peter Waddle, born August 1850 in Spartanburg Co.,SC - died 1880-1915. He married Amanda Catherine Burdett from Laurens Co., SC. Their children include:George Waddell, James Pinkney Waddell, William Simpson Waddell, Maxie Waddell, Clara Waddle, Bettie Waddell, Addie Waddell,
Docia Waddle, and Robert Waddell. Most of the children changed their names from Waddle to Waddell.

I believe Peter's parents are James and Elizabeth(Lizzie) Waddle.
They were born 1817-1818 in SC. I found them in Woodruff Township, Spartanburg Co., SC in the 1870 census.

I am also researching other families connected with the Waddell/
Waddle family. These include: Lanford, Morgan and Godfrey from Spartanburg Co., SC and Burdett from Laurens Co., SC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also willing to share information.
