Notes for Anthony Brooks:
Anthony is buried in the Brooks/ Harrell Cemetery in Clouds Creek,
Hawkins Co., TN.
Anthony enrolled in Captain Fain's Co., 1st Regiment Tennessee Mounted
Infantry and Volunteers for twelve months in the Cherokee War and was
discharged July 31, 1836. He and Hannah lived on Clouds Creek at what
we now call the Charlie Harrell place. They are both buried there in
the Brooks-Harrell Cemetery.
The children of Anthony Brooks and Hannah Price were:

19, 1845 to
Elizabeth Caroline Conner...b.March 4, 1826...d.1892
or 1896.
They lived at Big hill near Mooresburg, TN. and both
are buried on the farm atBig Hill in the Brooks
Cemetery. No stones . This cemetery is in bad shape. All
the stones were down. This farm is now owned by Tony Harrell
(1984).Cemetery plot # 264. John and
Elizabeth had 10 children.

(Lizze Jane) Lipe...b.august 15, 1823...d.April 18,
1899.They are both buriedat the Brooks - Harrell

Stokely D. and Elizabeth had 11 children.

Joseph Cooper...b....d.Nov.1879
Catherine...b.August 17, 1832...d.March 25, 1904...m.November 6, 1851
to WardMustin...b.1819...d.July 4, 1865. Ward was a
Cherokee Indian from NorthCarolina. He came to
Tennessee and married Catherine. He died in the Civil
War. He was a Union (Federal) soldier, a private in Co. A 1st Light
ArtilleryBattalion. He was wounded or became ill and
died and was buried at Decatur,Alabama.
