Daniel line is from Tennenesse, Shelton is from Illinois and Grumble(s) is from Alabama. Robert A. Thompson b. abt. 1840, Ms., John Stacy Thompson b. 11/1865, Cherokee County, Texas, Richard Nelson Thompson b.1891, Hays County, Texas. John Stacy and his father Robert were in the 1900 Travis County Census. Any information on Robert A. Thompson would be appreciated. Margaret Elizabeth Ann Daniel b. 1891 Brastrop County, Texas, to Avnet Ross Daniel and Mary Jane Grumbles. I am searching for information on Avnet Ross Daniel's parents. I know they were J.W. Daniel and Margaret E. A. Braddy from Tennennesse. I would like to know if they came to Texas and when and any other information any one may have. George W. Shelton B. abt. 1845, Illinois. Married Sara Ann Halstead, Daughter of Peter Halstead of Ohio and New York. I would appreciate any information on George. |
