Biography of Frame Carmen Freeman, as sent to me by Verle Hellwig.
Frame C. Freeman was born in the state of New Jersey in 1808.
When a boy, his parents moved to Miami County, Ohio. When he was 24 year's old he ms married to Martha Reed. They moved to a farm in Allen County, Southwest of Huntertown, Indiana in 1836. Martha, his wife died in 1837, leaving 3 children.
Milton 4. Nancy 2, and Ellen 3 weeks old. The girls were raised by their grandmother Reed in Miami County, Ohio.
In 1838 Frame Freeman married Emily. She and her baby both died in 1839.
He married Elizabeth Simon in 1840. She died in a few years, leaving 5 chi1dren: Matilda, Elizabeth, Catherine, Robert, and Henrietta, 1 week old.
He soon married widow of Leo, Ind., they were divorced as their children didn't agree.
In 1857, he married Mary Snyder. To this union were born W1l1iam David and Sarah Jane Freeman Storey.
Frame Freeman, 62, died suddenly of heart disease at his home in July, 1870. He and 3 of his wives are buried in the S.E. corner of Fairview Cemetery, southwest of Huntertown. Mary Snyder is buried by the side of her first husband, John Snyder on the west side of Fairview Cemetery.
Milton and Robert Freeman were in the Civil War.
Milton married Henrietta Snyder.
Nancy Freeman married Martin Houder. he died Nov. 10 l864 in a rebel prison in South Carolina.Martin and Nancy had 2 girls two 2 boys:Mary Elizabeth, Barbara Viola, Jacob Warren and Martin Lincoln.
George Humbert and Nancy were married in March 1867.Three children were born to this marriage; Ida May, Elizabeth Jane. And George Wilson.
