Other names include McLain, Lyons, Braden, Bean, Armintrout, and Wortmiller.The Lowes begin with Michael "Grand Mikey" Lowe of Pennsylvania, who became the first permanent settler of Scott County, Tennessee. Other families include Seiber, Adkins, Bunch, Bordner, and Daugherty.My wife, Zella, and her sister Susan, have done extensive research on the Bridges, Pollands, Callaways, Trents, and many others in Virginia. |
