The Cohoon and Urquhart Families Home Page

I am researching the following families: Allen, Cohoon, Copeland, Curling, Hill, Peebles, Urquhart, and Vick families. My great grandmother was Ella Sue Urquhart. She married Claude Cowper Cohoon. Their son, Henry Peebles Cohoon married my grandmother Ruth Leolyn Curling. My mother, Margaret Urquhart Cohoon, married Frank Rufus Copeland, Jr.
As far as I know, the Urquharts are from Southampton County, Va. The Cohoons are from Nansemond County, Va., as are the Copelands. The Peebles are from VA and NC. The Allens are from VA. I believe the Hills are from VA and/or NC. I am unsure where the Curlings and Vicks are from.
