I am William C. Waggoner. My nickname is Cully and that is how most people know me. I have been using Family Tree Maker to build a Waggoner family database since June of 1996. I have over 7900 names collected so far. I am doing research on WAGGONER's - WAGNER's - WAGONER's in my family and three other Waggoner family lines that connect to mine.

It is assumed that my line of Waggoner's came from Germany to England and then to what would become America. I have a family story of one Waggoner being killed by the British after the Boston Tea Party, so I assume that my line of Waggoner's were here before the Revolutionary War. Most of the Waggoner's in my family tree are from Southern Indiana, mostly Daviess, Martin, and Lawrence Counties of Indiana. Some of them owned land on what is now the Crane Naval Weapons Support Center. The Waggoner's were in Virginia and Kentucky before moving to Indiana and some of them later moved on to Texas and others to Florida and other States.

In addition to my Waggoner line, I have three other Waggoner family lines that also were from Indiana. The four different Waggoner Family Lines have connections to Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Knox, Lawrence, Martin and Sullivan Counties of Indiana.

Among the other Surnames in my database are: Adams, Adkins, Alexander, Alkire, Alland, Anderson, Arford, Armstrong, Askrin, Bailey, Baker, Barnes, Beals, Bennett, Boone, Bough, Bracker, Brock, Bube, Bulington, Cathers, Chanley, Cheeswright, Cline, Cochran, Coltvet, Corbin, Cox, Craig, Cunnigham, Davis, Denton, Dowden, Downey, East, Edwards, Emmons, Ferguson, Fuetz, Garrett, Garten, Geist, Girdler, Girdley, Hall, Harvey, Hays, Helms, Hitchcock, Holt, Inman, James, Kail, Keller, Lagenour, Larson, Ledgerwood, McCormack, McIndoo, Mitchell, Mock, Moe, Mosier, Mumaw, Neukam, Overlund, Overton, Owens, Palmer, Parsons, Porter, Puckett, Purvis, Royer, Sargent, Sherfick, Sims, Smith, Spaulding, Spurr, Stepro, Tracy, Waggoner, Wagner, Wagoner, Watson, Webster, White, Wills, Williams and Wilson

A 675 page book "The Waggoner's The First 300 Years in America 1700's to 2000's" is now available. Cost is $95.00 and includes shipping. It was published in 1998, prior to making certain the connections to the other three Waggoner lines and profiles the Descendants of Henry Waggoner I.

In an effort to protect living people in my database, I have shortened the number of generations shown in reports on this Web site. This effectively removes most of the descendants that are still alive, including myself, from being seen here. I still have all of the descendants in my database on my computer so nobody has been lost.

The Outline Descendant Tree of Henry Waggoner I now only displays 6 of the 11 generations in my database.

The Outline Descendant Tree of Michael Waggoner now only shows 5 of the 7 generations in my database.

The Outline Descendant Tree of Phillip Waggoner now only shows 6 of the 8 generations in my database.

The Outline Descendant Tree of John Benjamine Waggoner now only shows 3 of the 5 generations in my database.

The Outline Descendant Tree of John Ledgerwood now only shows 6 of the 10 generations in my database.

Please e-mail me for more details.

If any of this information sounds like we might be related, please send me an e-mail. I enjoy hearing from my cousins, no matter how distant. I would certainly like to see what information you have and I will willingly share what information I have.

Thank You For Visiting My Web Site.

Sincerely,

Cully Waggoner
