My husband was born a HOLLAND. His line is through ALFRED HOLLAND b. 1818 NC or SC. ALRED HOLLAND married several times (1)POLLY (2)RACHEL (HUGHES) WOOTEN (3)REBECCA ANN (CALLISON) SWEANEY.The Holland family came from NC to Mo. about 1840. After the death of his father, he was adopted by ELBERT PERSHING WAISNER.He also has a sister PAULA DIANE TERRILL from a 2nd marriage of ZELPHA IRENE FOWLER to CECIL TERRILL and a sister CYNTHIA ELRENE WAISNER from the 3rd marriage. This family alone covers most of Dallas and Webster counties in Missouri. SURNAMES: MARLIN, WILLIAMS, CAUGHRAN, CALLISON, GANN, BRESHEARS, FOWLER, RIFE, BYRN, HOCKER, HURST, HARMON, ROBERTSON, SIMMONS. My line comes from the Germans from Russia as well as the pioneers in America. My German ancestry comes from Marion county, Kansas. These surnames are: OLLENBURGER, REISWIG, TAUTFEST, LITTAU, FOOS, WEINMEISTER, KAFTON, NEUMAN. This family left to escape religious persecution. They are Mennonites and Lutherans. My mothers family are the typical pioneers who kept moving trying to find a better area to live. Surnames from this line are: FOWLER, STANLEY, HUTCHINS, RENFRO, BOATRIGHT, GOEWEY, SPAULDING, DUTCHER, HAMMER, DOANE, SHILLTOE, JUDSON, PORTER, CURTIS, HAWLEY, WHITE, WELLES, JANES, HUNISH, KERR, JONES. This line moved from NY, VT, CT, CANADA,WISC,MICH, MINN, IOWA, IND, ILL, MO, ARK, OK, KS, NEB. The Stanley family were Quakers from NC and were involved in the Underground Railroad. A second marriage of my mother to BENNIE PINKIN LEE created another heritage for my brothers line. This gave us some Indian Heritage also. Surnames for his line are: LEE, LESLIE, JACKSON, GRIFFITH, JOHNSON. His grandmother, SARAH "MONIE" ADELINE LESLIE came from the Seminole Indians. These people came from Fl, Ala, Ga, Tx, Ok areas. A third marriage of my mother to JAMES EDWARD MOORE gave us some Tennessee and Arkansas heritage. The surnames from this line are in the Crawford county, Ark. area. Surnames: MOORE, RANKIN, RICHARDSON, SHEPHERD, METHENEY, WELLS, STORM. The marriage of our daughter, JODIE MICHELE WAISNER to SHERMAN LEON OLINGER created one of my largest files. This file alone is over 20,000 people. These surnames include: OLINGER, MAGGARD, EUTSLER, SINGER, HERRICK, GAROUTTE, WILSON, CLAY, REYNOLDS, SMART, SMITH, ROSE, MASON, SUBLETTE, KINCAID, BRASHEARS. This family came from Tenn, Ky, Va, Pa to the areas around Springfield, Mo. They were the first settlers in the Christian, Greene, and Lawrence county areas of Republic, Billings, Marionville, Brookline, Aurora, Halltown, Mo. areas. A second marriage of my father, RAYMOND JULIUS OLLENBURGER to YOSHIKO AZUMA who is Japanese, gave me 3 step-sisters, Mary, IDA, who also have added to the ancestry. According to my favorite uncle CARL LEWIS DUTCHER's old saying when I started this research, "Judy Carlene you are a "Heinz 57" mixture and that is all you need to know. This was the only challenge I needed to start this life long project. I will have my first book for the millineum in 2000.
