Maureen Rawson's internet-based transcript of the Kent Quarter Sessions index to removal appeals refers to Philip Blagden making an appeal on 16 January 1777 against removal from St Mary Cray to Eynsford. His wife's name is given in the index as Lydia. The appeal confirmed the original removal order and so Philip was forced to remain in Eynsford.[Folio reference for further checking is 147].
