| The Elmores in this pedigree date back to Peter Elmore, born in England in 1615. The Preisch surname is from Germany, now known as Price in the USA. The Link surname dates back to Johann Gasper Link, a Hessian Soldier, born in 1751 in Germany. The Smith surname research has not been completed but will be based on the Smiths in Virginia. I am still working on this project and will update my information as I find it. I am trying to locate persons with the surname 'Long' from Montgomery County, Va and the surname 'Myles' also from Virginia. Other surnames I am interested in finding are 'Waller' and 'Mallory' - these families based in Grayson County, Va. and 'Maultbay' last known from Kingsport, TN area, and a George Washington Bevins, whose last known address was Kingsport, TN. |
