Joyce and I began working on our combined FAMILY TREE in 1994 and have accumulated a file of over 9800 names. My family surnames are WALLACE, LEIDY, WEBB, HARPER, CAMPBELL, and PORTER, with most of my ancestors from Ohio.
Joyce’s family surnames are all from eastern Kentucky, primarily Lawrence County. There have been a number of books published involving her ancestors that have been a source of much of our information. Her surnames are BURTON, HAYES, BALL, REMY/RAMEY, CARTER, BERRY, PACK, PRINCE, GRIFFITH, & THOMPSON. In addition we have a large MOORE file, as they relate in various ways to Joyce even though not direct ancestors.
