THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Nehemiah Sharp now residing at Newnham Farm in the Parish of Binstead in the Isle of Wight Gentleman made this twenty second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five I give and bequeath to my sons in law George Mansfield of White Doll Farm Fareham in the County of Hants and Henry Bourn of Oak Villa Ealing in the County of Middlesex their executors commistrators and assigns hereinafter called my trustees or trustee all my monies and personal estate whatsoever and whosoever (except the articles hereinafter particularly bequeathed to my grandson) upon the trusts following that is to say that they my trustees or trustee shall as soon as conveniently can be after my decease collect and get in all sums I may be entitled to and shall stand possessed thereof and of the monies deposited at my Bankers upon trust thereout to pay my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the cost and spence of erecting a head stone in memory of me and of my wife and after payment thereof then upon trust for and I do hereby direct that they my trustees or trustee shall deposit the residue of such trust monies in their or his own names or name upon a deposit account at interest in the Ryde Branch of the National Provincial Bank of England and shall from time to time as the interest which may become payable upon the amount so deposited to the principal sum by way of accumulation and shall stand possessed of such principal and interest monies to and for the benefit of all and every my grandchildren who are the children of either of my daughters Julia Mansfield and Ellen Bourn and for such of them only as shall at the time of my decease have attained or who shall thereafter attain the age of twenty one years and it is my will and meaning and I do hereby further direct that upon either of them my grandchildren attaining his or her age of twenty one years or who shall have attained that age in my lifetime my trustees or trustee shall pay such grandchild by a cheque on such Banking account an equal share of the trust monies as then deposited such share being calculated according to the number of such grandchildren then living and presumably entitled to share therein exclusive of any one or more of them who may have received his or her share and from time to time as each of them my grandchildren attains his or her age of twenty one years he or she shall be entitled to call upon my Trustees or trustee to pay him or her the share of such trust monies so bequeathed as aforesaid and also produce the trust account showing the monies such share is made up and if it happen that the youngest of such grandchildren for whom a share of the trust monies is retained die before attaining the age of twenty one years the it is my Will and meaning that the sum so retained shall be thereupon divided by my trustees or trustee between all the others of them my grandchildren who have already received their shares and who shall be living at the time of such division in equal shares and proportions I beg of my trustees or trustee strictly to carry out my intention as herein expressed and I bequeath to my grandson Harry Mansfield for his own use my Bureau and all other the goods belonging to me and which I sent to xxxx House, Soberton in the County of Hants I revoke all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and to this my last will do appoint my said sons in law George Mansfield and Henry Bourn Executors in witness whereof I the said Nehemiah Sharp have hereunto set my hand the day and year first be fore written - Nehemiah Sharp - Signed by the said Nehemiah Sharp as and for his will in the presence of us both present at the same time who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the alteration and interlineation marked opposite with our initials and the initials of the Testator having been first made - Thomas White - Solicitor Ryde - Henry H.
