      2. George2 Knipp (Verner1) was born 1780 in Wythe County, Virginia, and died 1855 in Lawrence County, Kentucky. He married Sally "Sarah" Adams, daughter of Bill Adams and Fanny Mitchem. She was born 1788 in North Carolina, and died Aft. 1860 in Carter County, Kentucky.
