Family Research includes Qualls/Dean family from Scott County,
Virginia to Carter County, Ky from early 1700's to 2000. It also includes Henderson, Taber; Tackitt, Hall, Webb, Boone from Floyd County, Ky to Carter County, Ky; Reynolds, Barker, Sparks, and Mauk of Elliott and Carter County, Ky; Knipp, Easterling, Roe, Flanary and Littleton of Carter County, Ky. Also includes Glancy, Rice, Otto, Biggs of Carter County, Ky.

The Qualls family includes three brothers, James and David
Qualls who married sisters - Nancy and Barbary Smith, daughters
of Samuel Smith; and Nicholas Qualls who moved on to Illinois.
James and Nancy Smith Qualls remained in Scott County, VA and
David and Barbary Smith Qualls moved to Lewis County, Ky.
I am a descendant of David and Barbary through their son Elisha
Qualls who married Rebecca Henderson in Carter County, Ky during
1800's. I am looking for the parents of James, David and
Nicholas Qualls. I am also looking for more information on
Barbary Smith's family; her father was Samuel Smith.

The Dean's are also from Scott County, Virginia. Their is some
confusion as to the Andrew Dean that is the father of Andrew
Jackson Dean, who served in the civil war and is supposedly
buried in the Nicholsville Cemetary. I would like more info
on Andrew Jackson Dean's mother and father.
