2. WILLIAM² CALLAHAN (JAMES¹) was born Abt. 1817 in Georgia. He married ELIZABETH S. THOMAS COOPER January 22, 1836 in Decatur, GA, daughter of SAMUEL COOPER and SARAH JUSTICE.

Notes for WILLIAM CALLAHAN:
I am trying to make sense of what I have so I am going to put it in chronological order. Let's see what happens. Hope this makes sense to you guys, but this is the only way I know of putting it. I truly believe that we have William CALLAHAN as the son of James CALLAHAN, and that William had a brother named Richard. By the way, Richard states on the 1880 Jackson Census that his father was from VA and his mother from GA.
