WALL, late of Amite County deceased were granted unto Elizabeth WALL widow and to Iverson G. L. McGehee with Elijah L. Terver and Van F. Swearingen sureties on the administration bond. Petition of William L. WALL administrator debonis non of the estate Lemuel E. WALL deceased shows that personal assets of said estate insufficient to pay the debts due by said estate. Petition to sell land situated in section 35, township 1, range 6, section 34, township 1, range 6 and section 35, a lot in Osyka, Pike County. Persons interested in said lands are the heirs of said intestate are Elizabeth WALL widow of said deceased, Abel C. WALL, Lemuel C. ILLIAM BARTLEY WALL:
Although Rev. William B. Wall was a resident of Amite County, he and two of his brothers, Rev. Howell Wall, Jr. and Rev. Lemuel Wall, all Baptist preachers, were well known in the central Florida Parishes for their work in the Baptist churches of the region. Furthermore, two of Rev. William's daughters, Eveline and Poline (Pauline), later became residents of Livingston Parish.

Personal estate total $1851.00 including cotton, bee hives, etc. (no slaves listed). Petition to the Amite Probate Court Dec. term 1856 by Charles J. Wall, Jr, administrator of the estate of William B. Wall, late of Amite County, deceased. Outstanding debts $2,000.00. Personal assets do not amount to sum adequate to this payment. Petition to sell lands of said intestate situated section 14, township 1, rage 5 east, and in section 24, township 1, range 5 east, section 20 and 32, township 1, range 6 east. On the 8 Nov. 1856 the appraisers set aside a number of items totaling $265.00 with an inventory for Sarh L. WALL widow and relict of said deceased William B. WALL. Entered the Civil War from Louisiana and was a member of the Point Coupee Battalion of Light Artillery. Was promoted to Lieutenant for gallant and meritorious conduct in the defense of Fort Pemberton. Here he was painfully wounded by the explosion of his magazine from the fire of the enemy. He was complimented by his commander and promoted to captain of artillery.
