She was born Unknown in Pennsylvania, and died Unknown. He married (2) SARAH BARBER MILLER January 07, 1813. She was born Unknown, and died Unknown.

OHN WILLIAM BAILLIE GEORGE ST. CLAIR:
The St. Clair's were French, Normandy Stock. They accompanied Willaim, the Conqueror to England in 1066; settled in Scotland, County of Caithness, North Scotland.

The St. Clairs came from Scotland between 1680 and 1760, landing in Philadelphia from where they went to New England, Virginia, and South Carolina

George St. Clair I is believed to have come from Scotland by way of Pennsylvania.

The birth was certified by deposition at the age of 21 in 1775. The deposition was signed by George Patterson, John Davidson, B.Williamson J.P.

These signers, old men 75 to 80 years of age, said they were present at the birth and knew him to be the John William Baillie George.

Sir John St. Clair - Scotland, born 1754- died 1835- buried in Royal Chapel in Holy Rood Palace in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I, (Rose St. Clair Bristow) visited the grave. His dog is buried at the foot of his grave, which is true of my ancestor George St. Clair buried in the family grave yard at Bonsack, Virginia.

Pension granted April 1, 1819 cert. # 8747 for Pennsylvania Sea Service.. Private sailor and steward.

He was a private soldier in the Revolutionary War.

Grandson of George II

The name Palmer came into the family through the marriage of George II's sister to a man by that name in the state of Pennsylvania.

George II was buried in an unmarked grave, which was his farm originally, adjoining the farm of Palmer St. Clair I, Elizabeth was buried there also.

George II's great grandson's Edwin St. Clair and __________ moved his body to the family graveyard on Palmer I's farm. Edwin, who lives in New York, said the handles on his coffin were silver.
