I am researching the following surnames: Walker, Johnson, Smith, Launius, Blythe, Parks, Mallett, Cook, Griffin, Farrer, Rudd, Collier, Crone, Rominger, Russell, Cook, Key, Jordan.The regions that these families lived in are Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Arkansas, and Texas.Most of these families came to Arkansas in the 1840s to 1880s.I know that the Launius line is from Germany and that the Farrer is from England.My main line of search is to discover the parents of Josiah D. Walker and Ada Jordan.They lived in Marion County, Ga. and are listed in the 1850 and 1860 census there.Any help anyone can give on these lines will be appreciated.
