Oliver and his second wife lived on a farm near Eureka, Wisconsin.

In 1895 grandmother Sarah Powell Hicks had the old Oliver Hicks family Bible, which doubtless passed into the hands of one of her daughters -- Henrietta or Caroline Lowry, the latter at present [1925] living at Madison, Wisconsin.
