Updated September 30, 2008
| About Our Family Research |
|
This family tree holds over 4,500 names. Birthdates and detailed information of those who are living have been privatized.
My son's Paternal side traces back to England and Ireland, as early as 1605. My Maternal side dates back to Shetland, also the Paternal, Mennonite portion from within the Ukraine as early as the 1700's.
Some common names you'll find: Giesbrecht, Thiessen, Braun, Smith, Hildebrand(t), Walker, Plumridge, Graves, and many more. Thiessen is a very important name in the Mennonite Church!!
Always looking for connections to Hartley, White, Hebblethwaite, & Braun.
Some interesting family members (really really old ones) are Thomas Graves, Rear Admiral of the British Navy who settled in Charlestown Massachusetts, his lineage moved onwards to become United Empire Loyalists, settling in Canada, near Bear Creek.
