I have found new information on the Hansens,Thompsons, Johnsons, Clarks and McMurtrys. The Caudill's married into the Picklesimer line for more information check John Picklesimers site below.
The Thompsons go back to Scotland and Ireland, their name was spelled Thomson.
I'm researching the following lines: Hansen, Johnson, and Oppenhagen. Prater, Hitchcock, Blair, Caudill, Thompson, and Stambaugh. Clark, Pyle, Kyles, Elam, Royster, Marshall, Thomas, Weatherford, and Worsham. Wallace, Brawley, and Truesdell.
We're also interested in finding any information on any Grimaldi lines.
Although we've managed to find a bunch of families, we still can't seem to find much on the Wallace line. It seems that rascal, Harvey Walter Wallace (b. Nov 2, 1875 in Warren County, Kentucky; brother Henry or John, and sister Alice who moved to New York; the boys were lawyers--that's about all we know at this point except that he married Jessie Molly Brawley in Oklahoma and had three kids, Fredrick, Ivan, and Betty) covered his tracks quite well. If anybody has any info on this guy, let me know.
In researching the Johnson Ancestors, I have been given information that William Wallace Johnson's Father is Robert B Johnson,mother Catherine Jane Henderson , and his Father is William R Johnson and William R Johnson's wife is Hannah Barnett. Her parents were John Barnett and Hannah Stapleton. The Barnett line goes back to Scotland. As for William R Johnson's parents, we are not yet sure.
