Notes for Farold D. Ruble: OBITUARY: Heart Attack Claims Farold D. Ruble, 40 Wolcottville---Farold D. Ruble, 40, R. R. 2, was dead on arrival at McCray Memorial Hospital at 2 p.m. Monday after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Ruble was born in Fort Wayne June 9, 1928, the son of Dale and Arvada (Maxwell) Ruble, and had lived in this area since 1947 coming from Monroeville. He was married March 25, 1949 in Kendallville to Margaret Kaiser. He was a member of the Rome City Volunteer Fire Department; American Legion Post No. 381, Rome City; Veterans of Foreign War Post 2749, Kendallville; and a veteran of the Korean conflict. For the past two years he had owned and operated the Hi-Ho Tavern at Rome City. Survivors include the parents; the widow; and four children, Mrs. Darlene Holsinger of Ligonier, Cynthia, 17, Barry, 14, and Kevin, 12, all at home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home, Kendallville, with the Rev. Herman H. Heine, pastor of St. Johns's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Monroeville cemetery. The family will receive callers at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9.
