I've just started tracing my family. I'm doing pretty well with my mother's side. Catherine DeSalles Walsh, her maiden name was Harnett. She came to the USA from County Durham, England in 1921. She arrived with her mom, Margaret; and her two sisters. Norah and Mary. My grandfather, Thomas Harnett came the year before. From there I got my grandmother's family the Callaghans, Coynes, then back to the O'Niels, the Bells, and the Joices from Ireland. My father's side is a little tougher. My Dad, Walter Joseph Walsh was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he served in the Navy during WW11. He died in Marin County, Ca. His father was Michael W.Walsh, he served in WW1, I remember a photo of him in uniform. He was born in Scranton, Penn. sometime in 1898. His wife's name was Anna Connors, also born in Scranton, Penn. sometime in 1901. In 1925, they lived at 111 S. Keyser Ave. In Scranton. They did have a daughter named Marie, who married a man named John Kennedy. They had two children, AnnMarie and Paul. My father did have a cousin named Joe Dolan,I think he was my grandfather's sisters son (not sure), also in Scranton, Penn. I think he played football for Notre Dame. He did have children, don't remember how many; but I do remember a cute daughter named AnnMarie ( had a little crush on her). She'd be about 54 now. That's it for now. I would appreciate anything anyone can add. Thanks, Mike
