Tues., Nov. 14, 1939, p. 3 Death comes to Mrs. Mary Karn. Death was due to a complication of diseases. Mrs. Karn sustained a fractured hip shortly before the death of her husband and has been ill since that time. Mrs. Karn was a member of st. Stephen's Cathedral, the Cathedral Altar Society, the League of the Sacred Heart. She was also active in various civic affairs. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank Pardon, a grandson, Henry Roberts Pardon, and a brother, W. E. Aud.
Her obit: Nov. 15, 1939, Owensboro, Ky. Messenger: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary R. Aud Karn, 54, widow of C. Roberts Karn, well known Owensboro druggist, who succumbed at her home, 600 Ewing Court, at 4 p.m. Sunday, were held at St. Stephen's Cathedral at 9 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Leo J. Dienes in charge. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dr. W. L. Taylor, Cecil Johnson, L. K. Mills, Ellis Carpenter, Dr. John Dixon and G. T. Clark.
