He married (2) Susan Marron on 31 Jul 1886 in The Parish Church, Liverpool, Lancashire, daughter of Philip Marron and Mary Kelly.

Household consists of Mary E (daughter from Jeremiah's first marriage), aged 19 and working in a wool facory; Kathleen, daughter aged 11 and described as a domestic servant; Philip, son aged 10, a scholar born in Co Mayo and Daniel, son aged 6 and also a scholar. Jeremiah's birthplace shown as County Cork.

Buried at Rath Cemetary, Tralee, Co Kerry, Ireland.

16/9/2008 - Possible progress, but to be confirmed:
In parish records of Bonane & Glengariff the baptism record shown below was discovered:

On 7/7/1850, at Derreenaclarig, Demitrius [Jeremiah] son of Demitri [Jeremiah] Scully and Maria [Mary] Harrington baptised. Sponsers [Godparents] were Dionysius [Denis] Scully and Maria [Mary] Scully.

If this is the correct record, this would put Jeremiah Scully's birthplace in County Cork and not Co Kerry, Ireland as previously thought.
