E dward's buisiness failed (he was a saddler for the commercial market) and Thomas helped Edwar d get a job with his employer in Newcastle, who operated in the more up-market domestic/sho w jumping area. Did have at least 1 child, as Marjorie remembers that a daughter of his enjoy ed horse riding. Fought in WW2, was a POW, captured by Germans in Crete in 1941. birth cert Jun1901 Morpeth 10b 433
