Wilfred Frederick (Pete) Burgess (son of Frederick Alexander Burgess and Alice Louisa Booker) was born 06 Feb 1900 in 17 Portman Road, Kingston-upon-Thames (next door to wife's family at 15!), and died 06 Nov 1968 in 48 Deacon Road, Kingston. He married Amy Whitehorn on 16 Jun 1928 in Bunyan Chapel, Kingston, daughter of Frank Whitehorn and Catherine Smith.
Notes for Wilfred Frederick (Pete) Burgess: Member of Temperance Society Father drank heavily - probably mother enrolled him 1905 Church Lads' Brigade 1916. In army 1918. Tail end charlie i.e. in end of plane armed with rifle to keep end of plane down. This was because he was small.

Lived with parents at 47 Blandford Road, Beckenham in October 1909. Must have moved there that year. Were still in Beckenham in 1912 when Reginald was born. Returned to Kingston later.
