Josiah & Mary Moody were born in NC and are first found in the 1830 census in Crawford Co., GA. They remained there until after the 1850 census and then apparently moved to Oglethorpe, Macon Co., GA where Mary died in the smallpox epidemic of 1858. Josiah then moved to Rankin Co., MS however, he died in Americus, GA on August 14, 1860 and is presumed to be buried in the William Moody lot in Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, GA.
James Parker of Houston Co., GA was the son of John and Mary Weeks Parker of Edgecombe Co., NC. James had sons: Weeks, Archibald,James,William and a dau. Mary Jane.
Maultia Clinton Bush was born in Houston Co., GA, to William Andrew Bush & Sparta Ellen Swilley. The family moved to Dooly Co., GA (area of Dooly now Crisp Co.). Maultia married Queen Victoria Napier of Dooly Co. Their children were: James William Bush, Mattie Ruth Bush, Nancy E. Bush, Elijah Bush, Thomas Cossie Bush and Fred Jackson Bush.
