I have traced the roots of the bowman tree back to John Bowman, born 1813. The Wallace side back to Samuel Wallace, born 1805.

James marion Wallace,Sr., born 1842, and wifes, Georgia Maynard and Lela Murphy, had about 10 children: James Marion, William, Ola, Pearl, Loress, Carrie, Maggie,Pearl Lee, Victoria, and Sallie.
