She was born c. 1620 in Nieppe, Hainault, France, and died 03 Oct 1681 in Bergen County , NJ.

Notes for David Demarest, Sr:
Fled from Beauchamp to Zeeland (1642) and then to the French Colony at Mannheim in the Palitinate (1651). Settled at Staten Island, Harlem & finally NJ (06/08/1677) where he held 5000 acres on the Hackensack River (then called the Herring). 1678 built the house which still stands at Bergen County Historical Society. A supporter of the French Church at Kindekemach from 1682. His family joined at Hackensack in 1697. Will probated 7/30/1697 (The Demarest Family, The Demarest Family Assoc, Hackensack, 1964 #1)
