Theodore Fox, 24, Farmer, and Ellen L. Fox, 26, his wife, were listed in the 1880 Federal Census, living in Franklin Township, Bergen County, NJ. Living with them were their daughters, Ida Fox, 3; and Elizabeth Fox 9/12. The family of Stephen J. Fox, possibly Theodore's father, was listed just after this family.
Theodore Fox, 64, Laborer in Silk Mill, and Ellen L. Fox, 65, his wife, were listed in the 1920 Federal Census, living on Church Street, Wyckoff, Bergen County, NJ in a house they owned. "Peter S Pulis bought a farm in Wyckoff in 1882 naming it Spring Lake Farm. By 1964 the farm, which had been known for years as one of the largest poultry farms in northern NJ, was extensively involved in production of eggs. The family also ran Spring Lake Park, a membership-plan recreation park with lake, picnic areas and recreation fields."
