"Stuart James Lentz was born in Baltimore on May 29, 1884, the second son of a German immigrant.

In 1900, at the age of sixteen Stuart Lentz was no longer living with his parents. As a young man, he was a hobo who rode the railroad looking for odd jobs.

In 1920, misspelled as Stewart according to the census, was living with his parents, was single and worked as a poultry butcher. He was a wage earner, rather than an employer. He later ran the S. Lentz Poultry business at Belair market in Baltimore. Belair market, still operating today, was part of the Municipal market system in Baltimore and was one of eleven markets in the city."

Notes for ANDREW (ANDY) JOHN BERGER:
Andrew J. Berger was a Baltimore City Policeman for 31 years serving mostly in the Eastern District. As a policeman, he was commended several times and once almost was killed in the line of duty. Answering a burglary alarm on a motorcycle in 1928, he crashed into a truck. At first it was believed he had broken his back, but the injuries turned out to be four broken ribs.

As a student of Baltimore History, Andrew always had an interest in antiques and he opened an antique store at 863 North howard Street which he operated until his death. He was known for being able to make lamps out of anything.

Andrew lived at 2826 Guilford Avenue, Baltimore at the time of his death.
