3. ALBERT WILLIAM³ WAMBAUGH (GEORGE², GEORGE¹) was born June 25, 1872 in York County, Pennsylvania, and died September 04, 1942 in York County, Pennsylvania. He married (1) ANNIE C. (CLARA ANNA) SHULTZ February 09, 1890 in York County, Pennsylvania ^4,⁵, daughter of JOHN SHULTZ and LYDIA WALLICK. She was born August 12, 1872 in Pennsylvania, and died October 12, 1935. He married (2) ANNIE KUNKEL Aft. 1900.

Albert owned a general store called "A. W. Wambaugh, Cheap Cash Grocery" in Yoe, York, Pennsylvania. William LeRoy Wambaugh (Uncle Roy - 1/2003), Albert's grandson by George Washington Wambaugh and Annie J. Hunt Wambaugh, remembers hearing about or visiting the store in Yoe.

Resident of Yoe, Dies

Yoe, Sept. 4, - Albert W. Wambaugh, who conducted a grocery business at Yoe a number of years, died at 6:30 o'clock this morning at the York County home, where he had been a guest for the past 15 days. He was 70 years old.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Annie Chronister Wambaugh and a son, George Wambaugh, Baltimore.

The funeral will be help Monday at 2 p.m. with brief services at the Purd A. Riedel Funeral Home, Dallastown, and further services at the Evangelical Church here. Burial will be made in the Longstown Cemetery.

It appears from the 1910 U.S. Federal Census that Annie C. and Albert were divorced sometime before 1910 and she took back her maiden name of Shultz. Albert then married Annie Kunkel Chronister.
