Henry Acton, Jr. (son of Henry Acton, Sr. and Hannah Corbett) was born Abt. 1677 in Longnor, Shropshire, England, and died Aft. December 05, 1742 in Upper Marlboro Prince Georges County, Maryland. He married (1) Ann Penn, daughter of William Penn. He married (2) Johanna Edgar.
Notes for Henry Acton, Jr.: Henry Acton, Jr. was commissioned Justice of peace 1706 in Prince Georges County, Maryland. He patented Longnor in Prince Georges County, Maryland 1725. Henry and his son John were called planters. Henry also owned Aberdeen, 428 acres, Dukes Delight, 40 acres, and Acton's Addition, all in Maryland. He married three rich widows: Ann Penn (Gambrah - her first husband's name), ??? and Johanna Edgar. It is said that the first wife was the mother of all the children.
