Notes for Catherine Kreiner: These notes are quoted from Becky Dormady, a cousin, who shared this information with us.
"Catherine Kreiner was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 4, 1864 to German immigrants. Her mother provided her with a very strict Catholic upbringing.
According to the 1900 Census "Kattie" Lentz was born in July of 1863 in Maryland. At this time she could read, write and speak English. She had seven children, five of whom lived with her and her husband Charles at 13 West Street.
According to an Ancestral File, Family Group Record, a Catherine Keiner was born in Baltimore about 1895 and no further information is given about her. This Catherine Kreiner was born to John L. Kreiner of Baden, Germany and Mary Barbara Winheimer also born in Baden. She had three sisters and eight brothers. Mary Barbara Kreiner and the brothers were all recorded as being buried in New Cathedral Cemetery, just like Catherine Lentz.
In the 1920 census Catherine gives the place of birth of her parents but it is crossed out. It appears that it could have said Bavaria."
